Where are documents processed?

All operations process on the staff member's device in the browser tab using JavaScript libraries. The hosted Team plan serves static JavaScript from a CDN. Self-hosted deployments serve that JavaScript from your infrastructure. No documents are uploaded to any server.

What about the OCR and background-removal models?

Both run in the browser (Tesseract.js and ONNX models). Model weights download once from a CDN; document pixels never leave the device.

Can we audit it?

Yes. The client is vanilla JavaScript built with Vite. Self-hosted customers receive the source with every release.
